Welcome to the official home page of Mark 'Rhino' Smith.
Mark was born in London but he has a hugely colourful heritage – Cherokee Indian, Jamaican, Ghanaian, Chinese and White. This mix along with his piercing green eyes has given him a very a distinctive and striking look.
Mark first catapulted onto our screens as Rhino in the massive ITV series, 'Gladiators' (UK) where he reigned for five years, he had previously won many titles as a champion body building. Since the show he has continued his vigorous training regime but he is now leaner and faster.
Mark has gone on to appear in many films and TV drama's. Warners cast Mark in his first major movie project in the Blockbuster 'Batman Begins' directed by Christopher Nolan where he played a Shadow Warrior. He has also appeared in 'Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy' directed by Gareth Jennings for Disney and starred in the highly acclaimed British Gangster film 'Rollin' with the Nines'. He has appeared as a guest star in many drama's for the BBC most recently Robin Hood where he played an Arabian prince.
Now working in the USA he recently shot a national campaign for the Olympics where he played a boxer and just finished filming the first series of episodic Scary City launched on the web, in which he starred as British banker called Damien Skylar. He is currently in production on a film called 'Fortune 500 Man' where he play Riley Preston the CEO. He will then go on to shoot two more films this year, Size Zero and Hoot Night in Hollywood.
